Every child is created in the image of God. Every child carries dignity, worth, and purpose that cannot be measured by circumstance. Yet around the world, millions of children face separation from family, preventable illness, and the lasting effects of trauma.
All God’s Children International exists because no child should be alone. Their work centers on one clear calling. Defend the rights of children, strengthen families, and disrupt the cycles of trauma that separate children from the care and love they were designed to know.
A Global Impact With Real Faces
Over the years, more than 672,000 children have been impacted through AGCI’s work around the world. Each year, that number continues to grow by tens of thousands. Those numbers represent children kept in families, children reunited with parents, and children protected from systems that often deepen trauma rather than heal it.
AGCI approaches this work with a deep understanding that trauma is both personal and systemic. When families lack access to healthcare, basic hygiene, education, or support, children suffer first. But when families are strengthened, children are protected.
Supporting Families in Ethiopia
In Ethiopia, many families face barriers that make staying healthy and together incredibly difficult. Without access to government issued healthcare or basic hygiene supplies, illness spreads quickly and children are often the most vulnerable.
Through partnership with AGCI, Altrua Ministries committed to a multi year effort to support families in Ethiopia by helping them gain access to healthcare services and resources that promote health, dignity, and prevention. This work is designed to serve more than one thousand families, giving parents the tools they need to care for their children and reduce the risk of long term harm.
This kind of support does not just address immediate needs. It helps stabilize families so children can remain safely at home, surrounded by love rather than uncertainty.
